An environment that encourages you to meet wonderful people and take on many challenges.

I believe that my four years at Tokyo College of Music were the times in which I was able to grow not only as a musician but also as a person. It was difficult to balance my musical activities with my studies, but the encounters I had with not only my performance teachers but also my seniors and many professors at TCM were very important and invaluable to me. There were many obstacles and difficult times, but whenever I went to the college, there were teachers by my side, so I was able to overcome them by always looking ahead. TCM provides an environment where I can freely try various things while being warmly watched over.
I will keep trying to be a musician that makes people think “I want to perform with her again” through my personality as well as my musicality.

My studies at TCM have led me to where I am today.

I am currently performing concerts all over the world, but it was the international competitions I tried twice while I was a student that led me to where I am today. I am very grateful to the former president of TCM, Prof. Minoru Nojima, as well as Prof. Kazuko Sumi, for their great support for the competitions. The classes at the college were very enjoyable and interesting, and all the professors were experts, not only in music classes but also in liberal arts classes.
In the foreign language classes, I learned Russian, English, and German, which I feel helps me when I go abroad. I wish I had studied longer.
Although my college life passed quickly, I was blessed with many friends, and the time we spent together is a precious treasure.
